Arbor Material Handling, Inc is seeking qualified candidates for a Parts Shipping & Receiving Associate position in our Willow Grove, PA facility. In this role, you will be working within our parts department to provide shipping and receiving support for our service team. The individual in this role must possess the ability to perform job duties independently while working with the parts team and the other departments of the company.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Picking and shipping of wide variety of forklift parts:
- Pull Service Department Work Orders
- Pull printed orders and stage on shelves
- Pull service van stock parts
- Pull, Pack and Ship parts order out via UPS
- Pull printed orders and box up in a professional manner and ship out using UPS World Ship Software
- Receiving parts in stock and daily stock orders
- Check in orders and Receive on our business system
- Put stock away in proper stock locations
- Assist parts coordinators in handling overflow of customer calls, both internal and external clients
- Pressing of forklift tires (training provided) and disposing of old tires into tire dumpster
- Pull and Load up Parts Delivery van according to delivery schedule
- Knowledge of basic shipping and receiving tasks such as packing, labeling, receiving documents, contacting shipping providers; Familiarity with UPS World Ship a plus (will train)
- Knowledge of warehouse organization and materials management, inventory controls, aisle and work area markings, safety measures
- Understanding of basic mechanical operations relating to warehouse equipment – forklifts, loading dock, automatic doors, shelving, inventory bins, etc.
- Basic computer skills which include use of Microsoft Outlook email, Excel, web applications and/or inventory systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong business communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability and aptitude to learn company systems and applications relating to work tasks (specific systems training will be provided)
- Ability to remain focused and multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize workload and maintain flexibility while working as part of a team
- Flexibility and mobility sufficient to walk and/or stand on a continual basis, to stoop or reach 3 feet above the head and 3 feet laterally, and to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs. and above as needed
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years’ experience working in a material handling environment; specific shipping and receiving experience highly desired
- Customer/Counter service experience
- Basic computer knowledge required; training on job-related applications will be provided
- Clean driving record; MVR report will be required at time of employment or during tenure once hired
